About This Coffee

A Parainema variety coffee from the Valle Central region of Costa Rica, grown at 1200–1700 meters altitude on the El Cerro farm, part of the Aprocetu association, produced by Juan Salas. Processed using the washed method. The cup is described as sweet and harmonious, clean, round, and elegant, with ripe fruit and a long finish. Tasting notes include brown sugar, roasted apple, and blueberries. Recommended for both espresso and filter brewing.

Harmony Roasters

Harmony Roasters began in 2021 when Dani sold his motorbike to buy a one kilogram capacity roaster. Together with his partner Agatha, who handles photography, social media, and the web presence, Dani built a micro roastery in Montcada i Reixac on the outskirts of Barcelona. His approach favours minimal intervention, letting the coffee's natural character come through rather than imposing a heavy roast signature. It paid off quickly: Dani won both the Catalan Coffee Roasting Championship and the Spain Roasters Championship in 2021, then took the Catalan title again in 2022. The roastery uses fully compostable packaging and supplies several businesses around Barcelona.
