This coffee is a single origin Kenyan coffee from Kamundu Estate in Kiambu County, grown at 1950 meters above sea level. It is a rare naturally processed coffee from Kenya, where most coffees are fully washed. The SL28 varietal is known for its exceptional cup quality. The coffee features bright, vibrant flavors of stone fruit, blackcurrant, and lychee, with the natural processing method enhancing its fruity characteristics. The slow maturation at high altitude in the cool highlands of Kiambu contributes to the coffee's distinct acidity and complexity.
Stay High Coffee Roasters was launched in London in February 2023 by Tom and Kat, who met while working as baristas. They are passionate about ethical sourcing and sustainability, with a focus on light to medium roasts that create sweet and balanced coffees.
