About This Coffee

This coffee comes from the Kamwangi Factory (wetmill), part of the New Ngariama Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga, Kenya, on the slopes of Mount Kenya at 1800 meters altitude. Cherries are collected from approximately 1000 smallholder farmers. Varieties include SL-28, SL-34, and K7, processed using the washed method. The cup profile is super sweet and dense, with black currant, blackberry, mature cherry, and black grape notes, complemented by citrusy acidity and a juicy finish. Graded AA (screen 17/18).
