Kenya Kii AA is a fully washed coffee from Kirinyaga County, produced by Kenyan cooperative members representing 3,380 smallholder farmers. The beans are SL-28 and SL-34 varieties grown at 1,800 meters altitude. This specialty-grade coffee features grapefruit, cranberry, rose water aroma, and fuzzy peach notes with a medium-full body and juicy aftertaste. Processing includes hand sorting, 16-20 hours of fermentation, and slow drying on raised beds.
Geoff Polci, a certified Q Grader whose coffee journey spans two decades, founded Stereo Coffee Roasters in Toronto in June 2018. Polci first roasted coffee in 2004 at a restaurant in Costa Rica and went on to run a series of cafes and co own another roasting company before launching Stereo. The roastery focuses on sustainable, traceable coffees from single farm producers, with a particular commitment to sourcing from women and Indigenous communities. Polci brings a hands on approach to quality, and his Q Grader certification underpins the sourcing and roasting decisions across the lineup.
