About This Coffee

This single-origin coffee comes from the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, grown at 1700-1800 meters altitude. It is sourced from approximately 1700 small farmers who deliver cherries daily to the Mugaya Coffee Factory, located on the southern outskirts of Mt. Kenya National Park. The coffee features SL28 and SL34 varieties and is washed processed. The flavor profile is characterized by intense currant notes, with grapefruit and delicate passion fruit undertones. It has a sweet, dense body and fresh, classic Kenyan characteristics.
