This coffee is from the Mwendi Wega Estate in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, grown at 1500 meters altitude. It is an AA grade coffee processed using the washed method. The coffee features Batian, SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru-11 varieties. The cup profile is bright and expressive with juicy blackberry sweetness, crisp lime acidity, and raw sugar sweetness creating a smooth, lightly syrupy texture. The aroma features soft florals of rhododendron and hints of marzipan, while the finish is long and warming with mulled wine spice and lingering sweetness.
