This coffee is a natural processed selection from the Ruera Estate in the Kiambu region of Kenya, grown at an altitude of 1577 meters. The variety includes Ruiru 11, SL 28, K7, and Batian. It offers an intense and sweet flavor profile reminiscent of fruit tea, compote, and mulled wine, with distinct notes of cherry, black currant, and honey. The beans are grown in fertile volcanic soil and undergo a unique natural process involving overnight water fermentation followed by 4-5 weeks of sun-drying on raised platforms.
