This coffee is sourced from smallholder farms in Mathira, Nyeri County, Kenya, processed at the Ruiruiru Washing Station. It is an anaerobic natural coffee grown at 1800-2000 meters altitude. The varietals include SL28, SL34, and Ruirui 11. The coffee features bright, complex flavor notes of strawberry, rhubarb, and lime salt.
Founded in 2012 by Christopher Hall, who began roasting in a Portland OR apartment before establishing a dedicated roasting facility, Push x Pull has become known for their expertise with natural process coffees and experimental processing methods.
