Kenya Zawadi Peaberry is a carefully selected blend of peaberry coffee from the Kamandi and Ndia-ini coffee factories in Kenya's central Province. The name Zawadi means 'present' or 'gift' in Kiswahili. Ndia-ini is situated 5km from Mukurwe-ini and uses fresh water from the Gikira river for processing - the name translates to 'river ponds'. The Kamandi coffee factory is located 5km away in a nearby village. This is a peaberry coffee, which is a natural mutation where the coffee cherry develops a single rounded bean instead of two flat beans.
