Seven Districts Coffee was born from a friendship between Ben Southall and Ellis Purvis, childhood mates from the same Lincolnshire village who turned a shared idea into reality when they opened their doors in September 2020. The roastery operates two 12kg roasting machines at their Welton flagship, where coffee production is visible from the adjoining coffee house. A second location, the Nettleham Coffee Hub, opened in 2021 inside a renovated former village library. Every coffee in their range is specialty graded by the SCA and named after local Lincolnshire folklore and fables. The founders built the business around community and inclusion, sourcing produce locally and keeping their range ethically traded throughout.
