Kokose is a washed coffee from the Sidamo Bensa region in Oromia, Ethiopia, grown at 2100–2300 meters altitude. The beans are Sidamo Heirloom variety, produced by Tamiru Dukamo at Logita Washing Station. The coffee undergoes a traditional washed process with 36–72 hours of fermentation before drying on African beds. Tasting notes include honey, apricot, clementin, black tea, and floral notes with a clean, sweet, elegant character.
