This coffee is a single-origin selection from the Lalesa washing station in the Gedeb region of Ethiopia, grown at an altitude of 2200 meters. Produced by Gotiti smallholders, this coffee is processed using a natural anaerobic method, involving a 9-day fermentation followed by 13 to 18 days of drying on African beds. The cup profile is characterized by juicy notes of passion fruit, hibiscus, and blackberry, with a finish of tamarind and a hint of rum. It offers a juicy to medium body and low acidity.
Moklair Coffee Roasters is a micro roastery in Reims, France, founded in 2020 by Kevin and Charity. The pair spent a year developing their craft before opening their physical shop in early 2022. Small batch roasting allows precise control, and the profiles tend toward medium, balancing origin character with approachability. The roastery reflects a core belief that quality coffee should be accessible to everyone, and the name blends "Moka" with the founders' vision to create something personal and distinctive.
