This coffee is from the Alturas del Triunfo project in Chiapas, Mexico, produced by indigenous Tzeltal communities of Buenavista and Emiliano Zapata. Grown at 1,700 meters altitude within the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve in the Sierra Madre mountains, this washed coffee features Red Bourbon and Yellow Caturra varieties. The cup presents notes of red cherry, red currant, and marzipan, reflecting the high-altitude terroir and careful farm management of these traditional varieties.
