Los Andes, Washed Bourbon

Los Andes, Washed Bourbon

Drop Coffee

About This Coffee

This coffee is a washed Bourbon from El Salvador, produced by Ernesto Menéndez at Los Andes farm. The farm is located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range in Santa Ana at 1720 meters above sea level. Harvested in March 2025, this Bourbon varietal is processed using the washed method. The coffee has bright yet balanced characteristics with medium acidity reminiscent of lime juice, flavor notes of red apple and almond cake, with an aftertaste of lime zest. The body is light and juicy. The farm spans about 5 hectares where Bourbon grows alongside nearly 80-year-old SL28 trees in a wild forest environment.
