This coffee comes from Los Tres Potros farm in the Apaneca-Llamatepec region of El Salvador, grown at 1500 meters altitude. It uses the Pacamara variety, a hybrid of Pacas and Maragogype. The coffee is processed naturally, resulting in a flavor profile highlighted by notes of pineapple, maple syrup, and melon, with a sweet, medium acidity and silky mouthfeel.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
