This Gesha coffee originates from Castelara Farm in Alto Jaramillo, Boquete, Panama, at 1700 meters altitude. Produced by Andreina Castillo, it undergoes Lost Origin's innovative Depulped Lab Process. The cherries are depulped and fermented in custom stainless steel tanks using proprietary cultures LOY-007P and LOB-001P with fermentation medium LOM-111 at 15% concentration. Fermentation lasts 1.8 days at 21.15°C under controlled conditions, followed by slow drying over 16.5 days in temperature and humidity-regulated rooms. The flavor profile features orange blossom, raspberry, and mandarin aromas. The cup opens with orange sherbet and smooth nectarine, showcasing a medium-heavy body and refreshing acidity. As it cools, it shifts to juicy stonefruit, peach, and orange with soft florals and a long, juicy finish.
