The station, founded in 1964, pulps cherries the same day of delivery, ferments under water for 15–24 hours, washes three times, and dries for 6–7 days on raised metal beds. Grown at 1,540 m altitude, the coffee features varieties SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru-11, and Batian. Flavor notes include passion fruit, muscovado sugar, and a juicy, intensely acidic profile with strong sweetness.
