Low Acid Decaf Coffee is a decaffeinated blend from Colombia and Brazil, grown at lower altitudes and medium roasted. The beans are washed processed and decaffeinated, producing a smooth, medium-bodied cup with flavor notes of chocolate, nutmeg, and blackberry and a reported pH of about 5.4.

Volcanica Coffee began in 2004 when Costa Rican-born Maurice Contreras started importing richly flavored beans from volcanic regions right out of his garage. What began as a side passion soon grew into a family-run specialty roaster, roasting on demand in Atlanta and sending each batch out within a day. Their approach is simple, unyielding: showcase terroir-driven, exotic single-origin beans from volcanic soils, roast them with care, and ship only when they’re at their freshest.
