About This Coffee

This coffee is from Costa Rica, specifically from the Turrialba region in Cartago province, grown at Aquiares Estate at 1400 meters altitude. It is produced by Diego Robelo using the Mariana variety and processed using the Red Honey method. The 2025 harvest offers a medium body with notes of blackberries and cherries, a honey aftertaste, balanced acidity, and high sweetness. Aquiares Estate, meaning "land between rivers" in the indigenous Huetar language, is Costa Rica's largest farm and home to 1,800 people, located on the slopes of Turrialba volcano.

Randall Coffee Roasters

Randall Coffee Roasters was founded in 2013 by Barry Randall and Miguel inside Mercado de Vallehermoso, one of Madrid's revitalised market halls. They were among the first micro roasteries in the city's specialty coffee scene. Single origin coffees are roasted weekly for freshness and supplied to several Madrid businesses. The operation also distributes premium equipment from brands like La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino, and provides consulting for new coffee space openings, covering everything from space planning to licensing.
