Curley's Coffee

Curley's Coffee is a woman owned specialty roastery in Ajo, Arizona, a historic mining town in the Sonoran Desert. The founder arrived in Ajo during a life transition, began selling a friend's freshly roasted coffee at the local farmers market, and then learned the roasting trade from a mentor in Tucson. Roasting takes place in a commercial kitchen at Curley School, a repurposed building named after the first mine manager of the local copper operation. The roastery sources primarily through the Cafe Femenino Foundation, a nonprofit funding community programs that benefit women and families in coffee producing regions. Single origin offerings include a Mexican Chiapas carrying fair trade, organic, and Cafe Femenino certifications.
