About This Coffee

Mexico Chiapas MWP Decaf is a decaffeinated coffee from the Chiapas region of Mexico at 900-1,200 meters altitude. The beans are a blend of Bourbon, Caturra, and Chiapas cultivar varieties, processed through Mountain Water Process decaffeination. This method uses pure spring water from Mexico's highest mountain to extract caffeine while retaining flavor compounds. The coffee offers notes of raisin, buttery toffee, and banana bread with a light, mild body.

HOS Roasting Co.

HOS Roasting Co. grew out of a coffee shop that Chris Hostetler opened in Madison, Indiana in 2019. The operation has since expanded to a roasting facility in Dupont, Indiana, where the team roasts specialty grade coffee in small batches on Mill City equipment. Hostetler runs the company alongside family members Trayton and Tricia Hostetler, with head roaster Kaleb Malcom, a specialty coffee enthusiast since 2013, leading the roasting. The roastery is built around three core values: coffee, conversation, and community, reflecting the belief that the best cups are shared around a table. HOS also operates a second retail location in Carrollton, Kentucky, opened in 2021.
