About This Coffee

This decaffeinated coffee is from Mexico, processed using the Mountain Water Decaffeination method. This chemical-free process involves soaking beans in warm water to extract compounds, then using a charcoal screen to remove caffeine while preserving flavor compounds. The solution is reused for multiple batches, with osmosis allowing caffeine to leave the beans without removing flavor. The process is up to 99.9% effective at removing caffeine.
