Midnight Train Blend is a dark roasted blend featuring Brazil Cerrado Mineiro Designation of Origin Accredited Farms and Organic Honduras COMSA - Royal Reserva Natural Fair Trade coffees. Both components are natural processed. The blend offers aromatic flavors of cocoa nibs, graham cracker, and stone fruit. Carefully dark roasted to maintain the delicate flavors inherent in the coffee.
Black Acres was established in 2018 by Travis Bell in Baltimore's Station North district. The Black owned roastery specialises in single origin and blended coffees, roasting all beans in house in small batches and sourcing ethically from South America and Africa with an emphasis on supply chain transparency. The business is part of Ignite Capital's social entrepreneur network and provides training programmes for employees covering coffee knowledge, customer service, and manufacturing. Alongside its retail locations at Open Works and Lexington Market, the roastery offers local Tuesday afternoon deliveries and direct to consumer subscriptions.
