About This Coffee

This is a low-caffeine espresso blend composed of 50% Arabica from Costa Rica, 25% Arabica from Brazil, and 25% Canephora (Robusta) from Indonesia. The Costa Rican component comes from CoopeTarrazú in La Pastora, Tarrazú, featuring SHB, Catuai, and Caturra varieties processed washed. The Brazilian portion is sourced from Capricornio in Paraná, using a farmer blend of diverse varieties processed via pulped natural method. The Indonesian contribution originates from Asnikom in Flores Ostmanggarai, Rende Nao, using Robusta variety also processed pulped natural. The blend presents flavors of chocolate, plum, and warm berries with a pleasant body and sweetness, roasted to a medium level.

Röstlabor, meaning Roasting Lab, perfectly describes the philosophy of founders Martin and Raphael in Zurich. They approach coffee with a scientific curiosity and a passion for craftsmanship, experimenting with profiles to unlock the full potential of each bean. It is a place where precision and the love for coffee intersect.
