This light roast coffee is from the Bukeye Washing Station in Gitega Province, Burundi, established in 2013. The station works with farmers on Munyinya Hill through the Coffee Scouts program, focusing on organic farming and meticulous cherry selection. Cherries are hand sorted, pulped, dry fermented for 12 hours, rinsed, and dried slowly on raised beds for up to 20 days. The coffee features sweet lemon, cranberry jam, and soft floral notes with a bright and elegant profile. New Light is a rotating series of light roasted East African farms.
