This is a single origin coffee from Jinotega, Nicaragua. Grown at an altitude of 1372 meters above sea level, this coffee is fully washed and sun-dried. The beans feature a diverse varietal composition including Bourbon, Catimor, Catuai, Caturra, and Maragogype. The cup offers rich tasting notes of almond butter, semi-sweet chocolate, and earl grey tea, with a medium roast profile.
Take It Easy Roasters was founded in 2020 in Las Vegas by Josh Molina, who also started Makers & Finders, a well known Latin American inspired café in the city. The roastery works with coffees from origins including Colombia, Ethiopia, and Kenya, and supplies its sibling café operations.
