This coffee is sourced from quality producers and roasted just past the point of full development, before second crack. The result is a coffee that retains its sweetness and character but also has a deep chocolate body, muted acidity and a touch of smokiness.
Geoff Polci, a certified Q Grader whose coffee journey spans two decades, founded Stereo Coffee Roasters in Toronto in June 2018. Polci first roasted coffee in 2004 at a restaurant in Costa Rica and went on to run a series of cafes and co own another roasting company before launching Stereo. The roastery focuses on sustainable, traceable coffees from single farm producers, with a particular commitment to sourcing from women and Indigenous communities. Polci brings a hands on approach to quality, and his Q Grader certification underpins the sourcing and roasting decisions across the lineup.
