Forecast Coffee was founded in 2020 in Whistler, British Columbia, roasting on a Loring S7 Nighthawk with built in afterburner technology. The roasting approach leans distinctly Nordic, with exceptionally light profiles designed to let origin and processing method take center stage. Single origins are sourced primarily from Kenya, Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Costa Rica through importers like Cafe Imports and Collaborative Coffee Source alongside direct relationships. The team includes experienced Q graders for quality control, and the lineup regularly features experimental processing methods including anaerobic fermentation, carbonic maceration, and honey processing. Forecast's philosophy is straightforward: coffee should taste like coffee, not roast.
