About This Coffee

This is a Fair Trade and Organic certified coffee from East Timor (Timor-Leste), produced by Cooperativa Cafe Timor (CCT). The coffee is grown by smallholder farmers in several high-altitude regions including Maubesse in Ainaro district, Atsabe in Ermera district, Lequisa, and Aifu. The beans are washed processed and made from the Hibrido de Timor varietal, a unique hybrid developed after a coffee leaf rust epidemic. The coffee grows at approximately 1600 meters elevation.
