This is a single origin coffee from Panama, produced by Bambito Estate located in the Volcan Baru region. The coffee is processed using the washed method and consists of Catuai and Caturra varieties, grown at an altitude of 1650-1800 meters above sea level. This is a light roast coffee with tasting notes of white peach, tupelo honey, and pomegranate reduction.
Achilles Coffee Roasters was founded in 2015 by Chad Bell in San Diego, California, named after his son. What started as a modest outdoor coffee cart in the Gaslamp Quarter grew within a year into a leased space in Cortez Hill, and the business now operates five café locations across San Diego County. All coffee is roasted in small batches locally, using beans that carry Organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance certifications alongside direct trade relationships where possible. The roastery maintains 12 rotating single origin selections sourced from around the globe, with an emphasis on precision brewing methods including weighed espresso shots.
