This exceptional coffee comes from Panama's Chiriqui province, specifically the renowned Geisha variety sourced through Taiwanese exporter BlackGold. Grown in the Boquete, Volcán, and Renacimiento regions surrounding the Barú volcano, the coffee benefits from a unique microclimate. The "bajareque" fog cools the mountainside, slowing cherry ripening and allowing sugars and essential oils to accumulate. Volcanic soils from the 16th-century eruption of Barú provide rich nutrients. This natural processed coffee is described as a filter blend.
