Kings Peak Coffee Roasters was founded in 2018 by Garland and Brandy Ledbetter in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company hand roasts specialty coffee in small batches, sourcing through direct trade relationships with farmers in Guatemala, Costa Rica, and a growing list of origins. The Ledbetters built the business around fair compensation and personal connections with the people who grow the coffee, working with importers who prioritize traceability. The lineup includes barrel aged coffees, single origin lots, and signature blends named after Utah peaks. A second location, Kings Peak Greenprint, opened at the end of 2024.
