This single origin coffee is grown in the Jiwaka and Western Highlands Provinces of Papua New Guinea at altitudes between 1,520 and 1,770 meters above sea level. It is produced by a network of 600 smallholder growers organized around the Kagamuga Dry Mill. The coffee is processed using the natural method, dried on raised beds. This processing amplifies the coffee's sensory character with layered acidity, subtle floral undertones, and ripe, sun-drenched fruit. The flavor profile features plum, strawberry, pineapple, and rose notes. It is roasted to a light level at 12% DTR.
Webe Coffee opened in Phoenix in early 2023, founded by TJ Sutton after a ten month buildout of the original location. The roastery operates a 20 kilogram production roaster alongside an Ikawa Pro sample roaster, sourcing specialty grade beans from origins including Colombia and Ethiopia. Sustainability is woven into the daily operation, from compostable packaging to donating used coffee grounds to local composters. It is a young roastery building its identity around intention and care at every step of the process.
