This coffee is a peaberry (PB) from Papua New Guinea, specifically from the Wahgi Valley region at 1,500-1,600 meters altitude. It is produced by Sigri Estate (also known as Bird of Paradise Estate) and processed using the washed method. The coffee is made from Typica variety and roasted to a medium level. Tasting notes feature dark fruit characteristics with red sugar sweetness and a rich, rounded body. This rare peaberry mutation occurs when a coffee cherry develops a single round seed instead of the typical two flat seeds.
