Three Fins Coffee Roasters

Catherine Bieri and Ron Reddick launched Three Fins Coffee Roasters in 2017, bringing a worldly perspective shaped by over a decade of international adventures in the wireless technology industry across Europe and Africa. After spending more than 12 years abroad helping mobile operators around the globe start up their businesses, these seasoned entrepreneurs recognized something profound during their travels: "We've been all over the globe, and a lot of people you meet, you meet in a coffee house." Their roastery, named after the three fins of a surfboard that provide direction and stability, embodies their California-meets-Cape Cod aesthetic and their mission to make "specialty coffee affordable because we believe everyone deserves a great cup of coffee." Ron, who transformed from telecom professional to specialty roaster through rigorous SCA training, champions the philosophy that "the story behind the bean is what is important to three fins," sourcing high-scoring fair trade beans from South America, Indonesia, and Africa while building their roastery into a platform for environmental change and community support through initiatives like their "Grounds for Good" program.
