Quetzal Mountain Water Decaf

Quetzal Mountain Water Decaf

Downriver Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This decaf coffee originates from the Frailesca region in Chiapas, Mexico, produced by communities located across the VI Frailesca region and Sierra Mariscal. It is a washed coffee made from Typica, Mundo Novo, Bourbon, and Caturra varieties, grown at altitudes between 1200 and 1800 meters. The coffee undergoes mountain water decaffeination using pure volcanic water from Pico de Orizaba, which removes 99% of caffeine while preserving flavor compounds. The cup features brown sugar sweetness, dark chocolate, and citrusy orange notes with a hint of warm spices.
