The cherries are harvested and pulped the same day, fermented for 24 hours, washed three times, and dried for 10 days. Displays clean clarity with vibrant red fruit flavors including raspberry, strawberry, rosehips, and jasmine tea notes. Light roast that is versatile across brewing methods.
Founded in 2020 at the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, Moonwake Coffee Roasters emerged from the passion of two former tech engineers, Ming Wood from Tesla and Mabel Yeung from Meta. What began as Ming's personal coffee project within Tesla's internal coffee club evolved into a full roastery operation after both founders chose to leave their tech careers to pursue coffee full time between 2023 and 2024. Moonwake represents a growing movement of technologists who discovered that coffee roasting offers greater fulfillment than their previous careers, channeling engineering precision into specialty coffee.
