This is a house blend at Grey Soul Coffee Roasters featuring beans from Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The blend consists of Catuai and SLN-9 varieties grown at over 4000 feet altitude. It is roasted using a low temperature fed med-dark roast profile with 15% development time ratio and an extended Maillard phase, lasting 10 minutes in a Probat roaster. The coffee offers flavor notes of almonds, red berries, sweet and creamy milk chocolate with a plum finish. It has a heavy body with a smooth finish and sweet acidity. Suitable for all brew methods, ideally enjoyed as espresso and moka pot.
