This single-origin coffee comes from the Bumbogo washing station in the Gakenke region of northern Rwanda, located an hour from Kigali. The station, established in 2017, works with over 500 local farmers and has more than 200 drying platforms. The coffee is Red Bourbon variety grown at altitudes between 1650-2200 meters. It underwent natural processing, where cherries were washed, sorted, and dried whole on platforms for 40 days under strict moisture control with regular turning. Flavor profile features tropical fruits, yellow apples, grapes, strawberries, and tea notes.
