This single origin coffee from Gasharu Coffee in Rwanda is processed using washed anaerobic fermentation. Rugori is produced and processed solely by women to honor their vital role in the coffee community, with proceeds going directly to support education and fight malnutrition. The coffee features a juicy body with notes of plums, caramel, blackberry, blueberry, and a raisin finish. It has medium, well-integrated acidity and a dense body. Roasted light with an extended roast profile, it suits pour-over, French press, and espresso brewing methods.
