About This Coffee

This coffee is a Bourbon variety from the Gatsibo region in Rwanda's Eastern Province. It is processed using an anaerobic natural method at the Humure Coffee Washing Station, which is managed entirely by women. The flavor profile features notes of strawberry, pomelo, and IPA. This coffee is suitable for both espresso and filter brewing methods.

Cracker Jack Coffee Co.

Hajdu Bazsi and Agocs Reka launched Cracker Jack Coffee Co. around 2020 in Pecs, Hungary. Bazsi brought seven to eight years of coffee experience built alongside his university studies. The timing was challenging, but Pecs proved receptive to the venture. Sourcing prioritizes organic, biodynamic, and bio certified production methods, and the team works only with importers that do not exploit producers. The current offering includes Brazilian lots from Pocos de Caldas, which Bazsi describes as a gateway into specialty, and a dry processed Costa Rica San Francisco. The cafe and roastery share a philosophy of not over mystifying coffee: let the customer decide how much of the story they want, and never make the drink feel more complicated than it needs to be.
