This coffee from the Kinini Washing Station in Rwanda is processed using anaerobic fermentation. The processing method gives the coffee a wild, fruit-forward character that is intensely sweet and juicy with flavor notes of blackcurrant cordial, assam tea, and floral agave. Smallholder farmers contribute to this lot, ensuring ripe cherries are delivered to the station on the day of picking, providing exceptional quality and consistency cup to cup.
Rob and Vikki Hodge founded Rave Coffee in Cirencester in 2011. The roastery moved into a renovated building on Phoenix Way in spring 2023, housing two Loring roasters, a 70kg and the original 35kg. They roast to order daily and have accumulated over 24,000 five star reviews. The Independent voted their subscription the Best Overall Coffee Subscription in 2024. Rave is a 1% for the Planet member and has planted over 22,000 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Their range covers blends, single origins, pods, brew bags, cold brew, and green beans for home roasting.
