This coffee is from the Kinini washing station in the Northern Province of Rwanda. The estate was planted in 2012 with Bourbon Mayaguez 139 variety seedlings, with nearly half a million trees planted across 38 of 252 hectares. The coffee is processed using natural methods, which were introduced at the facility in 2019. The operation has seen significant investment including new roads for farmer access, a roasting facility, and satellite technology for monitoring tree health. Recent additions include a worm bed facility to convert coffee cherry into organic fertiliser.
