This coffee is a micro-lot from Jinotega, Nicaragua, produced by Sabino and Maria Jesus at the highest altitudes of the region. The lot is called La Fuente and the coffee is fully washed. It is made from Catuai and Caturra varieties. The coffee offers a bright, fruity profile with notes of pear, apple, and white grape.
Will founded River Coffee Roasters in Winchester, Hampshire, in 2018. The roastery follows a direct trade model, paying above Fairtrade rates and making regular visits to producers in Colombia and Costa Rica, including Tarrazú experimental microlots and farms in Huila.
