The coffee is Arabica, featuring Typica, Mundo Novo, and Bourbon varieties, processed using the washed method. Light roasted and recommended for filter and modern espresso. Founded in 2020 by Francesco Impallomeni, Jacob Frankel, and Miguel Botero in Copenhagen's Amager district, Nordic Roasting Co. operates as a roastery, cafe, and educational hub. Their mission centers on providing high quality, sustainable, and ethically sourced specialty coffee while creating transparency about the social and environmental impacts of the coffee industry. Most of their coffee is direct traded with farmers, with remaining purchases made transparently through importers who disclose prices paid to producers. They craft roast coffee to bring out the essence of different terroirs, and provide customers with the full package: freshly roasted beans, state of the art brewing equipment, and ongoing training.
