A washed Chiroso coffee from Antioquia, Colombia, grown at 1650-1800 meters elevation by young specialty coffee producers collaborating through the Unblended project. This lot features a 48-hour fermentation in cherry and is sourced from the Young Producers Project in Caicedo. The coffee displays bright citrus flavors with orange zest, honeycrisp apple sweetness, and subtle eucalyptus floral notes.
Founded in 2020 at the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, Moonwake Coffee Roasters emerged from the passion of two former tech engineers, Ming Wood from Tesla and Mabel Yeung from Meta. What began as Ming's personal coffee project within Tesla's internal coffee club evolved into a full roastery operation after both founders chose to leave their tech careers to pursue coffee full time between 2023 and 2024.
