This single origin coffee comes from Hacienda Sonora in Costa Rica's Central Valley, grown at 1,300 meters altitude. The coffee is made from the Venecia variety, a natural mutation of Bourbon discovered in Costa Rica in the 1950s. It is processed using the natural method, where the coffee cherries are sun-dried with their skins intact to enhance natural sweetness and intense aromatics. The roast level is medium. This coffee offers a well-balanced and complex cup with full flavors of berries and subtle wine-like sweetness.
An artisanal micro-roastery in the heart of Småland that hand-roasts specialty coffee beans slowly and at lower temperatures to develop their full aroma.
