Henni and Didier, a couple bringing together German, Canadian, and Colombian backgrounds, founded Lucky Cat Coffee in 2022 in Dresden's Neustadt district. The name and logo draw from the maneki neko, the Japanese beckoning cat figurine associated with good fortune, setting a playful tone for a serious specialty roasting operation.
