About This Coffee

This decaffeinated coffee is from El Vergel Estate in Fresno, Tolima, Colombia, grown at 1,450 meters altitude. The coffee is a blend of Red and Yellow Caturra varieties, 100% Arabica. It undergoes a 48-60 hour anaerobic fermentation process followed by natural processing, then sun-drying and mechanical drying at temperatures below 45°C. The coffee is decaffeinated using the Sugarcane EA (Ethyl Acetate) method, which uses ethyl acetate derived from Colombian sugarcane. Produced by Elías and Shady Bayter, the coffee is stabilized for 45 days in GrainPro bags. The flavor profile features milk chocolate, tropical fruits, strawberry, honey, coconut, orange, passion fruit, and citric acidity.
