This decaffeinated coffee is processed using the Swiss Water method, which gently removes caffeine using only water without chemicals, preserving the coffee's natural flavor. Roasted from the finest Arabica beans with flavor notes of liquorice, cherry, and dark chocolate. The coffee is a medium roast featuring Bourbon and Catuai varieties.
Grain & Grind opened its first coffee shop at the start of 2018 beneath the old Victoria Infirmary buildings on Battlefield Road in Glasgow. A roaster was installed in that original shop and later relocated to Inverness, where master roaster John now hand roasts in small batches across a range of over twenty offerings. The company has grown to eight café locations spread between Glasgow and Inverness. They also run a wholesale supply business providing beans, brew bags, and equipment to cafés, restaurants, and hotels, partnering with San Remo for espresso machines and Mahlkönig for grinders.
